Angel Investors, HNIs to attend Seeding Kerala to explore investments in Kerala startups

Angel investors and High Networth Individuals (HNIs) from across the country will converge in Kochi on March 6 for the Seeding Kerala event and explore startups for making investments.

Finance Minister K N Balagopal will inaugurate the Seeding Kerala which is aimed at creating a dynamic early-stage investment ecosystem for startups and building a vibrant pipeline for high net-worth individuals (HNIs) and local investors to pick up fledgling enterprises for parking their funds.

The Seeding Kerala, being organised by Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM), will have deliberations on investment in startups. It will also have meetings of stakeholders with government officials and investors in the startup ecosystem. Over 50 prominent investors and 100 HNIs will attend the Seeding Kerala. KSUM CEO Anoop Ambika said they were expecting around 200 investors and HNIs from Kerala to participate in Seeding Kerala which will also be a platform to identify new partners for the state government’s Fund of Fund Scheme that provides equity funding for startups.

As per an official release issued by KSUM, prominent angel investor groups that will attend Seeding Kerala include100XVC, Chennai Angels, Indian Angel Network, Lets Ventures, ORIOS Ventures, Unicorn India Ventures, Special Invest, and SEA Fund.
