Chasing passion, Kerala woman becomes successful YouTuber sharing farming tips

Can a passion be turned into a successful venture to earn money? Ask Annie Yujin of Edakunnu, Angamaly in Kerala, and the answer will be an immediate yes.

Annie Yujin, with the help of her husband Puthen Stephen, has not only transformed their property into a thriving agricultural haven but has also cultivated a massive online following through her popular YouTube channel “Krishi Lokam” which she started in 2014.

Now, Annie is a successful YouTuber, who is spreading knowledge and information on farming topics that she loves the most. Though Annie loved videography from a young age, she was hesitant and shy to get in front of the camera. However, her strong desire to share information and knowledge on farming, which she and her husband successfully implemented on their property, compelled her to follow her heart and pursue her passion to become a YouTuber.

What sets Annie apart is not just her success in farming but her ability to share her knowledge and experiences with the world. Recognising the growing interest in sustainable living and farming practices, her YouTube channel “Krishi Lokam” started documenting her daily life on the farm, offering valuable tips and showcasing the beauty of farming life.

Her videos cover a wide range of topics, from planting and harvesting techniques to raising livestock and implementing eco-friendly farming practices. Her engaging and authentic approach resonates with viewers, drawing them into the world of farming like never before. The channel became a hit, amassing a loyal and diverse audience eager to learn from her expertise.

“I never expected it to become this big. But I’m thrilled that so many people are interested in learning about sustainable farming. It’s incredible to connect with like-minded individuals and share our passion for farming,” Annie told “Open Digest“.

She added that she is very happy to inspire aspiring farmers through her channel. Annie emphasises that with determination, hard work, and a willingness to learn, one can turn a personal dream into a meaningful venture.
