Kerala government is taking all efforts to ensure that projects of entrepreneurs do not face any hardship due to red tapism. In a first of its kind initiative to address grievances of the entrepreneurs in the state within seven days, the Department of Industries and Commerce has come up with a ‘chat with the minister ” facility for the entrepreneurs.
The initiative has been introduced as part of the Entrepreneur year project of the state government.
Entrepreneurs can send their doubts and complaints related to enterprises to the authorities on the WhatsApp number 9846441445. If the messages are received, remedial measures will be taken through a system consisting of district-level resource persons and officials from the industries department. The entrepreneurs will be given a befitting reply within seven days and necessary steps will be taken to resolve the grievance. Messages can be sent from 10 am to 5 pm on all working days.
Industries Minister P Rajeev in a tweet on Monday said “Chat with the Minister – Industries Department is providing a direct opportunity for entrepreneurs to interact. Entrepreneurs can send their complaints and inquiries on Whatsapp. Within max 7 days the complaint redressed and appropriate reply shall be given.”
