Kerala Govt to reimburse money spend by Startups for patents

Kerala government has rolled out another scheme for startups in which money incurred by startups for obtaining patent for their products and services will be reimbursed by the state government.

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, in a tweet, on Wednesday said that the new scheme was being introduced to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in Kerala. “The LDF Government will reimburse Startups and students their expenses for obtaining patents. Through the Patent Support Scheme, up to Rs. 2 lakhs will be offered for Indian patents, and up to Rs. 10 lakhs for foreign patents,” his tweet said.
