Many thought it as a weird idea when Aby Baby of Ramamangalam in Ernakulam decided to set up a company in 2016 to make skin care products from donkey milk. He launched the company in Kerala after setting up a donkey farm to conduct more research and ensure steady supply of milk which is the key ingredient for his products.
Six years have gone by and Aby is now busy expanding the operations of his company which recorded a tremendous growth in the last three years. He has started a new division called “Flying Donkey ” that makes nutraceuticals that includes aphrodisiac products with no added preservatives from donkey milk.
Aby is proud that the customers who are using his skin care products are becoming brand ambassadors of it. “My wellness and skincare products are expensive but they deliver results. My company is the market leader in this segment. We have set up a Research and Development facility to make more products from donkey milk,” Aby told “Open Digest”.
Aby started his career as an IT executive in 1996 after studying computer science. “I have done extensive research on the medicinal properties of donkey milk. We have already launched a wide variety of skin care products and have partnered with major e-commerce platforms to sell our products. We chose donkey milk because it is rich in several vitamins,” he added. Aby’s company Dolphin IBA Nutricosmetics and Cosmeceuticals Private Limited has recorded a substantial growth compared to its nearest rival. “Ours is truly a Kerala company that is making global skin care products for global customers,” he added.
