KOCHI: Actors Parvathy Thiruvothu and Nithya Menen caught their followers by surprise when they posted a photo of a pregnancy kit test result and a pacifier on their Instagram accounts. ‘And wonder begins,’ the caption read.

In no time, the posts went viral on social media. Shortly, Padmapriya, Archana Padmini, Sayanora Philip and Amrutha Subash shared the same photo of a pregnancy test. Later, it became clear that it was an announcement of their upcoming movie ‘Wonder Women’.

Written and directed by Anjali Menon, Wonder Women stars Parvathy Thiruvoth, Nithya Menon, Sayanora Philip, Padmapriya, and Archana Padmini in the lead roles. The female-centric film tells the story of pregnant women. The movie was filmed in Kozhikode and surrounding areas.
