Kerala on Monday saw a much vibrant Prime Minister Narendra Modi who walked the streets of Kochi in traditional Kerala attire before inaugurating the Kerala edition of Yuvam Conclave in which he praised the youth as the driving force in the country’s development. Addressing thousands of people who were gathered at the venue to hear his speech, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the country has much faith in the youth who have strength and capabilities to transform the country.
“Have faith in the youth, who are instrumental in transforming India into one of the fastest growing economies in the world,” he said. “We are now the fastest-growing economy in the world. The country’s youth are responsible for making it possible. We have a lot of tremendous faith in the country’s youth,” he said.
He said India is walking ahead with a resolution to build a new India with the support and trust of the youth. “Youth from across the country and Kerala have stepped forward to lead India’s journey in development,” he said.
Earlier, conducting a road show, which was attended by a huge crowd, Prime Minister Narendra Modi walked through the streets of Kochi dressed in traditional Kerala attire. Thousands of people lined up on both sides of the road to cheer for the Prime Minister showering him with flower petals. Ignoring security protocol, Modi also shook hands with people who were waiting to catch a glimpse of him. Narendra Modi, who is on a two-visit to Kerala, will launch the country’s first Water Metro service on Tuesday and flag off the debut service of Vande Bharat train between Thiruvananthapuram and Kasargod.
