Kerala-based health tech start up PappyJoe, a specialised cloud-based Electronic Medical Record (EMR) solution provider, has inked a major business deal with a prominent clinic chain ‘Our Family Clinic’ for the complete digitisation of latter’s chain of clinics.
The strategic partnership between PappyJoe and ‘Our Family Clinic’ is aimed at optimising the entire operations of the chain of clinics run by Satkriya Healthcare Innovations Private Limited.

Our EMR will seamlessly integrate patient records, clinical workflows, and administrative tasks into a unified digital ecosystem that can be operated and managed even from a desktop or even a smartphone,” said PappyJoe Chief Executive Officer (CEO) George Kuriakose.
Satkriya Healthcare Innovations Private Limited is headed by Prasoon Prakasan, Dr. Mohamed Shamnad, Dr. Rojan Joseph, and Dr. Midhun D S. The entity is funded and backed by United States-based Acumen Funds and few HNIs. Currently, ‘Our Family Clinic’ has 14 clinics in Kerala and is aggressively expanding its network by opening more clinics across the country.
“Our EMR solution is used by over 5,000 clinics and over 10,000 doctors worldwide. PappyJoe handles more than a million patient appointments and medical prescriptions” George said.

We zeroed in on PappyJoe after working with them in a few of our clinics for the past one year and found their solutions to be very flexible and scalable. We foresee a mutually beneficial relationship with PappyJoe as our technology provider wherein PappyJoe will help us scale our operations faster and in a more efficient manner enabling us to concentrate more on the clinical aspects which is the foundation of our success,” he said.
PappyJoe, incubated as a technology start up under Kerala Startup Mission in 2019, has been offering its services to clinics and hospitals in India, Middle East and Asia. They also have a Revenue Cycle Management Software for matured Insurance driven markets.
George adds that the market for Clinic Management Software is presently mostly unorganised and has huge opportunity to be tapped in. Currently operating in B2B space, PappyJoe is planning to expand to B2C space by strengthening doctor – patient connect.
