Expectations are very high after the release of the first look poster, in which DQ sports a ‘gangster-look’, a far cry from the romantic hero image he has been portraying in his recent films.

Touted to be one of the biggest projects of his career, King of Kotha is produced by his own Wayfarer Films. The movie has Aishwarya Lekshmi, Shabeer Kallarakkal, Gokul Suresh, Chemban Vinod Jose, and Nyla Usha in major roles.

The next schedule of the movie will begin in Uttar Pradesh, according to reports. In an earlier interview, Dulquer Salmaan had said that the movie will be a perfect package.

The script is penned by Abhilash N Chandran and the cinematography is by Nimish Ravi. Shyam Sasidharan is the editor and music is by Shaan Rahman and Jakes Bejoy.
