Orange Run 24 in Kochi on April 7 to spread awareness on women empowerment, child safety

To spread awareness on women empowerment and child safety, Kochi-based Orange Runners Club, a collective of fitness enthusiasts, is organising a marathon in Kochi on April 7. The event titled “Orange Run 24” aims to not only foster a culture of physical fitness but also raise awareness about crucial societal issues.

The Orange Runners Club has embarked on this ambitious initiative to harness the power of community engagement through athletics. The marathon, slated to take place in the heart of Kochi, is poised to attract participants from all walks of life, ranging from seasoned athletes to casual joggers, all united under the banner of a common cause. The title sponsor of the event is Karur Vysya Bank.

The event’s organisers have meticulously planned various categories of runs to accommodate participants of different ages and fitness levels, ensuring inclusivity and participation from diverse segments of society. From the spirited 4 KM family fun run to the challenging 12 KM mini marathon, there’s something for everyone to partake in and contribute towards the overarching message of empowerment and safety. Through this marathon, the Orange Runners Club seeks to initiate conversations and actions that address the pressing issues of women’s empowerment and child safety.

As the countdown to April 7 begins, anticipation is mounting among both participants and spectators alike. The Orange Runners Club’s marathon isn’t just about crossing the finish line—it’s about taking meaningful steps towards a more equitable and secure future for all. The online registration for the marathon will end on March 28.
