India’s leading TMT manufacturer Steelex TMT is gearing up to expand its market footprint pan-India with the launch of the innovative NeoCoat TMT bars that offer complete corrosion resistance at an affordable price point.
Steelex TMT will soon be setting up a manufacturing unit in Karnataka to increase its production capacity and to cater to the demand for its products from customers across India.
Steelex TMT Executive Director Humayoon Kalliyath said the new revolutionary product, NeoCoat from Steelex TMT, ensures comprehensive protection against corrosion for decades, making it ideal for long-lasting structures exposed to weather fluctuations or humid conditions near coastal areas. “With Steelex NeoCoat, our goal is to make corrosion-resistant TMT bars more accessible to individual home builders along with construction firms building large projects,” Humayoon said.
Priced in the range of conventional TMT steel available in the market, NeoCoat provides immense value in terms of life cycle cost savings from avoiding repeated repairs or replacements. “Our extensive lab tests have confirmed that NeoCoat bars will not rust even if immersed in saline water for days,” he said.
Steelex TMT Co-Executive Director Pahalisha Kalliyath said Steelex TMT will be augmenting its production capacity by opening a new integrated steel plant in Karnataka this year. “This is to meet the anticipated surge in demand for NeoCoat. We will also be expanding our dealer network across India to ensure the availability of NeoCoat to all customers,” he said, adding that Steelex TMT will also be introducing a wide range of products like nails and MS wires in the market soon.
